In my opinion, this is quite literally the best part of the whole experience - aside from you getting married of course! I love to connect with my couples, be it our initial video chat, a coffee date, lunch, or a beach walk with our dogs. I'm always on the go with my couples talking all things wedding and life! I feel so grateful to connect and truly become friends with each of you *cue teary eyes emoji* After our initial chat, if we decide we are a good fit, I will send over the contract and invoice to lock in your date.

The Engagement Session
This is when we let loose. You say you're camera shy and I playfully roll my eyes and say you just haven't had a photographer that knew how to direct you properly ;) This is where we lay the foundation y'all! I get to know your quirks and how you make your partner laugh. I give you real and natural direction and one movement will inspire the next. At the end of the session, you're blown away at how much fun you had! Because it's really just a date with your lover and your third wheel bestie and you get some sweet photos out of it. By the time your wedding comes around, you'll think of me as your Maid of Honor 2.0 and you won't even mind the camera anymore.
The last thing you want is to be worried about family photos two weeks out, one week out, and definitely not on the day of your wedding. The month prior to your wedding, we will hop on a final organization call. We tie up any loose ends by confirming family photo requests (I make it PAINLESS to plan and execute, I promise) and timeline details, etc. It's short and sweet and one less thing to worry about in that final month of prep.

You made it! All you have to do is enjoy the day and your kick ass vendor team, who only want the best for you, is ready to go above and beyond for you. It goes by fast and I will do everything I can to help you slow down to soak up every minute of it. Getting ready with your bridal party, first look with dad, private vows, walking down the aisle, saying 'I do," popping champagne to celebrate with your wedding party, and a sparkler exit!!! All dressed to the nines. One of the best parts is you'll have a sneak peek of your photos the next day and your full gallery within 3 weeks.
We don't let gorgeous photos get lost in the digital space around here. We print beautiful heirlooms. From fine art prints to hang on on your wall to coffee table books and 'thank you' prints for your family and friends (they looked INCREDIBLE at cocktail hour!) Everything is personalized and designed with quality and sustainability in mind.

She made us feel comfortable and guided us throughout the entire day. She suggested poses that felt natural and easy. It was clear that she is very experienced, and knew which lighting, angles, and backgrounds would look best. We were chatting and laughing the entire time! We were pleasantly surprised later that day, when she sent us a beautiful preview album that we could share with our friends and family! We were amazed with how gorgeous the photos turned out, and felt that she perfectly captured our love and relationship. All of the photos were sharp and beautifully colored, and she included a variety of full-body, portraits, and close-up detail photos, in front of numerous gorgeous backgrounds. We truly cannot recommend Augusta enough. We loved working with her and will cherish our photos for many years to come!

Frequently Asked Questions
Having your photo taken is very personal and requires vulnerability. Making you feel yourself is my number one priority. That is why us building a connection makes all the difference here. Along with subtle posing direction, I really make an effort to get to know you so you know we're friends and not strangers. Works every time!
How do we feel natural in front of the camera?
You can expect a sneak peek of your wedding photos the day after your wedding, and your engagement and wedding galleries within three weeks of their shoot date.
When can we expect to see our images?
You can expect to receive approximately 75-100 images per hour of coverage. However, the final count may vary based on the flow of your shoot, any downtime, and whether a second photographer is present. My goal is to deliver as many stunning photos as possible; I only withhold images that don’t meet my high standards of quality.
I strive to create a gallery that feels like a cinematic experience, ensuring that each photo offers a unique perspective and captures the essence of your special day without repetitive moments. You’ll be able to relive your wedding through a beautifully curated collection of memories!
How many images do we receive?
To secure your spot on my calendar, I require 40% at signing. The remaining 60% is due two weeks in advance for weddings. You have the option to split the payments (up to three payments), if you’d like to make it more manageable. Just ask. I’m happy to help where I can!
How do payment schedules work?
I will never overstep your wedding planner but YES! Photography related or not, I will do my best to help with anything along the way. I will work with you, or your planner, to create a timeline that helps the day run smoothly while giving us plenty of time for all your photos, and we will go over your family photos beforehand to ensure a smooth and painless experience. If you need recommendations, or anything else, just ask!
Do you help in the planning process?
While I excel at capturing beautiful moments on my own, a second photographer ensures that simultaneous events are documented seamlessly. Having a second photographer can be incredibly beneficial in certain situations. For instance, if you and your fiancé are getting ready at different locations and want to capture both moments, or if you plan to skip cocktail hour but still want plenty of candid shots of your guests during that time, a second shooter is ideal. This is often determined by whether you’re planning a first look.
This is a trusted photographer of my choosing. Let’s discuss your specific needs and determine the best approach for your special day! That said, second shooters are subject to availability in the local area and cannot be guaranteed.
Do I need a second photograher?
There are several reasons that go beyond just capturing beautiful images. It’s a fantastic way to build a connection and feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. It allows you to experience natural posing, showcase your unique love story in personalized settings, and ensures that your wedding portraits will be effortless and authentic. For an extra touch, consider scheduling your hair and makeup trial on the same day to see how your look translates on camera.
